I was honored to be asked to participate in the Radiothon for McLeod's Children's Hospital yesterday! I was nervous, but so excited to share Ryleigh's story with others. I will be the first to admit that many times I have walked right past people or jars that wanted donations for various Children's networks such as hospitals, St. Judes, etc. I never realized just how important those donations are UNTIL I became effected and needed the NICU here at McLeod. The money raised will help in so many ways like buying recliners for Moms/Dads to hold their babies in, milk warmers, etc. Things our sick babies and children NEED!!!
Yesterday (10/2/19), I was amazed at the number of people calling in to donate to the Children's Hospital at McLeod. My mom, my mother-in-law, and myself became Miracle Makers yesterday. This means we pledged to donated $15 a month to the Children's Hospital at McLeod. Just think, that is equivalent to a soft drink a day AND the money is spent right here at one of our local hospitals. We (the Pee Dee area) are BLESSED to have a wonderful Children's Hospital and NICU so close by.
I am so happy to see the lives that Ryleigh has touched that encouraged others to make a one time donation or become Miracle Makers. The nurses, doctors, and staff that work with our sick babies and children are AMAZING! They have been wonderful to not only Ryleigh, but Landon and I as well. Please support McLeod's Children's Hospital/NICU in honor of our little miracle, Ryleigh Elizabeth.
