After traveling back and forth to Florence for 76 (a total of 78 days in the NICU) days straight...I FINALLY had a day at home where I didn't have to get dressed out of my PJs. It felt wonderful! The best part was waking up and having my baby girl at home with me.
We didn't get much sleep last as Ryleigh was up grunting (mostly) and fussing some due to gas pains! Hopefully, the Dr. will change her formula at her appointment tomorrow!
I can't thank my Momma and Mother-in-Love enough for all of their help today! They came over first thing this morning and stayed all day until Landon got off! They watched Ryleigh while I napped off and on with Annabelle. They fed her, changed her, loved on her, and even cooked dinner together for Landon and I. We are grateful for the wonderful Mommas that we have and blessed that they get along so wonderfully. Ryleigh has an awesome GiGi and Grammie and they are spoiling her already!
Ryleigh had a wonderful first day home! Drank her bottles and had dirty diapers as she should. We introduced her to her momma-roo today and she LOVES it. We are thankful that GiGi purchased it for us!
NaNa (Landon's aunt Ruthie), Grandma (my grandma Frances), and G-Pa (Sam) came to see Ryleigh today. She enjoyed the attention and snuggles from everyone! <3 I said she wasn't going to spoiled and held all the time...but I can't help but hold her myself! We are so excited she is home with us. We have a busy day tomorrow...Dr. in the morning and "newborn"/graduation pictures tomorrow night! Even though I don't get as much sleep, I am loving and blessed to experience life as a MOM!!
